Welcome to the Samson IT Xelion information page about the ACT! Premium integration!

How does the integration work?

  1. Automatically add and update contacts and companies in the Xelion address book
  2. Allows you to make calls from your Xelion address book
  3. Automatically opens ACT! premium business card with an incoming call using the Xelion softphone

What do you need?

  1. ACT! Premium account
  2. Xelion VoIP telephone solution
  3. SmartXPS Xelion services account

What steps do you have to do to activate the integration?

  1. Go to the Smart XPS website and log in with your Samson IT Xelion services account.
  2. Click on the button “add application” in the left menu.
  3. Search under CRM integrations for ACT! Premium and click on the button “Configure now”.
  4. Agree to the conditions
  5. Click on “Request now”.
  6. Fill in for the ACT! URL the following: https://www.act.com/nl-nl/database, with the database that you use.
  7. Enter your Xelion account with which we can talk to your Xelion exchange. We recommend creating a separate ACT! Premium API account with executive rights in Xelion.
  8. Enter the name of the ACT! Premium Database that you want to use in Database.
  9. To add your triggers to Xelion, click the “send trigger to Xelion” button. Do you want to enter this manually? Then follow the steps under “Activate pop-up in Xelion.”
  10. A new page opens with the Xelion trigger that will be sent to your Xelion exchange, click send.
  11. After saving and sending your triggers, your link is active. From now on every person / company that you add or adjust in ACT! Premium will be in Xelion.

 

Activate pop-up in Xelion

  1. Login to your Xelion solution with the administrator account.
  2. Go to “Administration” -> “Triggers”
  3. Create a new trigger in Xelion so that the company card appears automatically
    1. Type: Call connected
    2. Action: Open document
    3. Value: https://apps.smartxps.com/redirect/${remoteAddressable:x1syncid}
    4. Condition: (${callId} != “”) and (${callLog:incoming} = “1”) and (${remoteAddressable:x1syncid} != null)
    5. Active: tick.

Xelion is now integrated to your ACT! Premium application!
