Step 3: Installation of the Click-To-Call plug-in

Caution: the plug-in only works in Google Chrome
    1. Start Google Chrome and click here to add the plugin: ‘Telephone Number Detection’ into your webbrowser.
    2. Click on “Add to Chrome”. A pop-up will appear, click on the button ‘Add Extension’.
    3. Now that the extensions had been added to Google Chrome a little icon of a phone is in the upper right corner of your webbrowser. If it doesn’t there could be a little puzzlepiece it is hidden in there, if so if you want you could use the thumbtack next to the phone icon to lock it to the bar.
    4. Press with the right mouse button the icon of “Telephone Number Detection” and select ‘Options’.
    5. In this setting menu a pop-up will appear. In this new window change the following settings: protocol from”Dial” to “Call To” and min length of a number from “8” to”10″ (see the images at the bottom, the red arrow are the options you have to change with the ones on the right).
    6. After you changed the setting they should look like the image on the right side, Afterwards click on “Save”.
    7. Congratulations! You can now start a call from the Zendesk- Application (with the use of the Google Chrome browser).
